Position 1: Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Protein Biochemistry and Molecular Biology:

We seek a talented and highly self-motivated individual to investigate the mechanism of action of novel small-molecule anticancer drugs targeting the apoptosis pathways. Candidates should have hands-on experience in protein biochemistry including protein expression, purification and molecular biology techniques and excellent skills in verbal and interpersonal communication. Applicants should be willing to learn new skills and work independently, while being a part of the team. A Ph.D. with a background in biochemistry and molecular biology is desired. Candidates will get opportunity to work in a cutting edge anticancer drug discovery research area in an intellectually-stimulating environment in a multidisciplinary drug discovery team.

Position 2: Research Fellow in Cell and Molecular Biology:

We seek a talented and highly self-motivated individual with expertise in cancer cell and molecular biology. Candidate should have hands-on experience in cell biology techniques including flow cytometry analysis and sorting, immunofluorescent microscopy, and routine molecular biology and protein biochemistry techniques. Experience in leukemia or other blood-related cancers is desirable, but not required. Candidate must have excellent skills in verbal and interpersonal communication. Applicant should be willing to learn new skills and work independently, while being a part of the team. Candidate will work in a cutting edge drug discovery research area of investigating molecularly targeted small-molecule inhibitors for the treatment of leukemia. In addition to cell lines, as part of the investigation, the successful candidate should be willing to work on patient samples. A Ph.D. degree with a background in cell biology, molecular biology, or cancer pharmacology is desired.
