This group, tentatively referred to as W.A.I.B. - Washtenaw Against the Inhumanity in the Balkans, found consensus on a number of issues that included:

Agreeing on the need for a Coordinating Commitee/Coalition.

Agreeing on the need for commonly sponsored events.

Agreeing on the need to start a County-wide reconciliatory effort.

Agreeing to hold our next meeting Wednesday 9th of June, 1999 at 7pm in the SSW Room 1804.

Agreeing that a small group of representatives meet at ICPJ HQ on Tappan Street at 3pm to prepare a draft Mission Statement.

The meeting was coordinated by Michael Dover from the Bertha Reynolds Society, and it was generallyagreed that the second meeting would be necessary to ratify the decisions made by the first. The meeting was held in a professional and respectful setting and can be deemed as a success.

It is also important to mention that along with the groups mentioned above, many people came just representing themselves, and for privacy reasons their names have not been mentioned.
