The Text Creation Partnership (EEBO-TCP and Evans-TCP)
Working files related to the creation of multiple text corpora. The Early English Books Online Text Creation Partnership (EEBO-TCP) is well on its way to its stated goal of creating a 25,000-volume text corpus based on the early English printed books listed in the short title catalogues of Pollard & Redgrave and Wing, converted from and intended to accompany the EEBO page-image product created by ProQuest from their 'STC-I" and "STC-II" series of microfilms. See also the EEBO project page and the online implementation. Just under way is the companion Evans Early American Imprints Online Text Creation Partnership (Evans-TCP), the goal of which is the creation of a 6,000-volume corpus of early American imprints (based on the Evans short title catalogue), converted from the Readex/Newsbank Evans Digital page-image product. See the Evans project page.
