Origin of the Center Title
origin tab  Nobel Biocare/University of Michigan “Center For Excellence”

The Nobel Biocare/University of Michigan “Center For Excellence” was established in January of 1994 through mutual cooperation of the School of Dentistry and Nobel Biocare. The international reputation of investigators in the School of Dentistry and Nobel Biocare researchers and personnel, and the committment of these individuals to excellence provided a sound basis for establishing such a Center at the School of Dentistry. The primary focus of the Center is the advancement of academic and scientific knowledge in oral health care and human services in areas of mutual interest for both Nobel Biocare personnel and investigators at the Center. To achieve this focus, a committee structure was established consisting of an (1) Advisory Committee, and (2) Operations Committee.
