Michigan Lemma is an Ann Arbor based mathematics competition for high school students. The first Lemma competition took place on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at the University of Michigan Department of Mathematics.

About Lemma
Michigan Lemma is a full day event during which competitors solve challenging problems, collaborate with peers, and learn new mathematics. The contest is organized by students in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Michigan hoping to promote critical thinking and creative problem solving.
On January 25, 2020, we held the first annual Michigan Lemma. The results of Lemma 2020 can be found here. We aim to grow Lemma into a regional mathematics competition for midwestern high school students.
