The meeting will be held at the Waikoloa Beach Marriott Resort in Kona, on the Big Island of Hawaii, located 20 minutes from Kona International Airport. The resort occupies 15 tropical beach front acres fronting palm fringed Anaeho'omalu Bay.

A block of rooms is available at the special rate of $150 per night ($185 for ocean view) until 28 January 2005. These rates are based on single or double occupancy and are available for up to five days before or after the meeting. After 28 January, room rates will be quoted on the basis of availability. Lunches for paid participants will be provided at the resort on Sunday, 27 February through Wednesday, 2 March.

Graduate students can apply for housing support by sending an e-mail to kona2005-support@umich.edu that briefly describes the qualifications of the student and explains the need for support.

Space for conference attendees has been reserved at the resort's Sunday evening lu'au, available at the special price of $55 per person. Payment for the lu'au can be made on the registration link above or upon arrival at the conference.

In addition to the lu'au, an opening reception will be held at the resort on Saturday evening.
