These solutions reflect assignments made by Professor Larsen at the University of Michigan during his two-semester course on Quantum Field Theory during the academic year 2003-2004. (As an extra disclaimer to the cautious student: I took this course when I was a second-year undergraduate; but I did preform consistently at the top of the class).

This was one of the best courses I have ever taken: Professor Larsen did an excellent job both lecturing and coming up with interesting problems to work on. To say that this was 'canonical' course out of Peskin and Schroeder would not do him justice, and the problem sets reflect his creative work. Nevertheless, much of the lectures followed Peskin and Schroeder's An Introduction to Quantum Field Theory; and the homeworks occasionally came from of the text. To help the student who may be following the text more closely than we did, I have indicated which problems correspond to those in Peskin and Schroeder's text.
