Respecting People
Starting with the principle "Respect for People", MQuality led us to add the principle of "Respect for Ideas", which is key to the values of a University. One of the most important ways we have been practicing the principle of respect for people and ideas is to improve the thousands of hours that staff spend each year in meetings.
Here's what some ITD staff have to say about how they have been affected by the principle of Respect for Ideas & People:
- In classrooms:
- (1.7mb) - ask about an individual's needs
- In teams:
- (2.5mb) - helps groups avoid petty bickering
- In meetings:
- (1mb) - formal / informal mix makes people comfortable
