WORKSHOP ON
IDENTITY FORMATION AND SOCIAL ISSUES
IN GLOBAL PERSPECTIVE

An international workshop organized by the University of Michigan Center for Russian & East European Studies

Workshop sessions will be held in Room 1644 at the U-M International Institute,
1080 South University Avenue (corner of South and East University Avenues).

Workshop sessions will be organized around discussion of participants' papers without formal presentations. Copies of the papers will be available at the Center for Russian & East European Studies, Suite 4668, 1080 South University Ave (4th floor of the new building across from Ulrich's) starting May 8, 1998 and they will be available at all workship sessions.

The workshop is made possible by grants from The Ford Foundation: "Crossing Borders: Revitalizing Area Studies," awarded to the University of Michigan International Institute, and "Identity Formation and Social Issues in Estonia, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan," awarded to the University of Michigan Center for Russian and East European Studies.
