The 9th International Conference on Numerical Ship Hydrodynamics will be held in Ann Arbor, Michigan from Sunday, August 5, 2007 until Wednesday, August 8, 2007. The Conference is being organized by the Department of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering at the University of Michigan. The principal sponsor is the Office of Naval Research.

The conference promotes the use of numerical methods to solve problems of interest to the marine community. Emphasis is placed on new developments in the general field of fluid mechanics as they relate to naval hydrodynamics. The forum encourages both the formal and informal discussion of presented papers and the Conference provides an opportunity for direct communication between international peers. The Conference proceedings provide archival documentation on the state-of-the-art for numerical ship hydrodynamics.

The participation of graduate and Ph.D. students is encouraged and a limited number of student registrations with reduced fees will be made available. A reduced registration fee will also be available for accompanying persons.
