The history of the atomic bomb has been covered in a wide variety of films, books, and articles. More recently, this history has found its way on to the Web in the form of museums that bring together pictures and text to related different aspects of the Bomb experience. This week's assignment is to visit one such museuum, the A Bomb WWW Museum.
The A Bomb WWW Museum contains a wide variety of resources, from pictures and specifications for the Anola Gay and Big Boy, to reminiscences of Bomb survivers. Explore some of the links that interest you. Come to class prepared to discussion why these links interested you and what you learned from them. Look particularly for what the museum displays have to say (or do not say) about science and technology.
