        Dec. 1:               THE BEST BALL OF THEM ALL THIS FALL...  World AIDS Day 2001 The 1st Annual Michigan Masquerade Costume Ball  To be held at the William Monroe Totter House (1443 Washtenaw Avenue - Ann  Arbor/Doors open @ 9p till 1a) Reception, Silent Auction, Casino Night, & dance the night away w/ DJs Ice and Burn!  This is a charity benefit for HARC (HIV/AIDS Resource Center) and space is limited so get your tickets now!  Tickets are now at the Michigan Union Ticket Office for 5$ in advance & 7$ @ the door.  Costumes are optional and there are many great auction items!  Parking will only be available at the 1st Presbytarian Church and Angell School on Wastenaw Ave.

        Dec. 1:               The Ecology Center and Washtenaw County Department of Environment and Infrastructure Services are co-sponsoring a free automotive mercury switch replacement to the public.  The event will take place from 9 am to 5 pm at the parking lot next to the Home Toxics Reduction Program at the County Service Center on 2201 Hogback Road.
