How Do I Get Involved?

Our pledge program in APO is non-competitive, which means that as long as you fulfill pledge requirements, you will become a member of our fraternity! During Rush Week at the beginning of Fall and Winter semesters, there is an entire week dedicated to showcasing events that give potential pledges a taste for what APO is like. In addition to the informational Mass Meeting, fellowship events such as a painting the rock and service events such as making crafts for Motts Hospital, give examples of what the three pillars mean to the Gamma Pi chapter. All of these events are optional to attend; however, are highly encouraged!

Our pledge requirements:

  • 20 service hours
  • Attending 3 social events (fellowships)
  • Attending 3 pledge fellowships
  • 6 one-on-one meetings with other members
  • 1 leadership point
  • Attending weekly pledge meetings

Weekly pledge meetings take place before every chapter and include bonding activities, as well as teaching pledges all things APO. While this may seem like an overwhelming list, these requirements are very easily to fulfill because we have multiple leadership, fellowship, and service events every single day - even on weekends! As long as you plan ahead and prioritize attending events, you will be able to easily accomplish these requirements, if not exceed them! When you become an active member, the requirements are changed to 25 service hours, 4 fellowships, and 3 leadership points. If you're interested, give us an email at:
