About

Duc Le is currently a Research Scientist Manager in the AI Speech Team at Meta (part of Reality Labs), where he is leading an applied research team to push and productionize the state-of-the-art in end-to-end ASR, rare word and entity recognition, contextual biasing, language model fusion, large-scale multilingual ASR, and spoken language understanding. Before joining Michigan, Duc received his B.S. in Computer Science (summa cum laude) from the University of Texas at Dallas in 2012, where he worked with Professor Yang Liu on speech emotion recognition.
