I was wondering if there has been any attempt made to allow clients with
LIBLDAP version newer than 3.0 to connect to LDAP servers with version
3.0 (and older).
If I try this today, I get the old "Decoding error". Is there a way that
the client can be made tolerant of that particular bug that occurs only
in the BIND-reply?
Has anyone made a patch for this?
