You can also use the ldapd from the University of Michigan together
with the ISODE sofware: the interface with the DCE GDS (or with any other
X.500 server) will be the DAP.
In fact there is no need here to use the XDS/XOM interface.
I have done it with the LDAP server from the University of Michigan and with
ISODE 8.0. It runs fine with our DCE GDS (product X500-DS release 3.1. from
Bull). This product is also able to run as standalone (without DCE).
