UC Berkeley 2.0 package

I noticed the new X.500(1993) DSA has a default database based on UC
Berkeley 2.0 package. It also said you can use the Berkeley package
itself, but I can only locate db1.85. This version is also mentioned in
the documentation. But what I would like to know are there any advantages
or disadvantages over each of these versions? Any comments regarding the
use of either of these packages would be appreciated. Thanks
