I have been reading over the basics of LDAP and want to start planning an implementation of it.
Questions:
Is there a standard DIT?
Is there a standard set of attributes for object classes like PERSON and ORGANIZTION?
If you want to add a new ATTRIBUTE to an object class do you do it through a standards committee?
What about local only ATTRIBUTEs?
Is there an 'official' repository of current DIT design standards?
I don't expect answers, just pointers, mind you answers would be great too
