I built the ldapd 3.3 server on a SGI running Irix 5.3 using gcc and had the
same problem. Are you using the pp syntax handlers? I finally managed to
compile the thing by putting the pp library before the isode library on the
compiler link line. I have no idea why this should make any difference, but
after this change, ldapd compiled and has been running without incident since.
