My last question to this list was concerning an attribute which got to me as
"{ASN}345435ed....etc.", i.e, an ASN.1 string. This was the value of the
attribute "mhsORAddresses".
This attribute is set up to use the syntax called "ORAddress" (found in file
oidtable.at)
I'd like to read this as text!
>From various people I have gathered enough information to conclude that the
solution is
a) to upgrade the LDAP-server I query, to one that uses quipu with the
PP-library or ISODE-3. This will make the LDAP-server recognize the attribute
correctly.
b) to manually decode the string using the liblber functions.

Since solution a) could be costly for our customers (who run the DSA), I ask for
the syntax (format) of "ORAddress" so that I can decode it on the client side of
the connection.
