First of all sorry for bothering you with this question, but this list is the
closest thing I could think off for this question.
I'm busy writing an ldapclient (as part of a MUA), that can retrieve PGP-keys as
Roland Hedberg suggested in his draft.
I am able to retrieve the key (more or less) using LDAP.
However somewhere along the track the <CR> characters in the key are changed to
spaces.
>From Roland I heard it probably is caused by the way ISODE-8.0 handles the
IA5Strings. (I know, I know, ISODE-8.0 is old)
Does someone know where to look (in the isode-8.0 stuff) in order to find the
routine where this could happen ? (I tried TidyString2, but that doesn't help
much) (or maybe somebody knows what place/list I should ask the question).
