I'd like to hear about any independent non U-M LDAP server
implementations people have developed. You can reply to me
privately, and I will summarize to the list.
As a requirement for LDAP to move from proposed to draft standard,
there must be multiple interoperable implementations. There seem to be
lots of clients out there, and I know of several servers as well. But
it would be helpful to the process if anyone who has developed a server
implementation not based on the U-M code would send me a note confirming
1) that they have an implementation, 2) that it works with the many
ldap clients that are out there, and 3) describing in brief how complete
it is (e.g., does it do modifies?).
