Copies to: birders@umich.edu Priority: normal THE WATERTHRUSH HOTEL The Waterthrush Hotel is in Dolph Park in Ann Arbor. (The main entrance to Dolph Park is on Wagner Rd. between Jackson Rd. and Liberty Rd.) The Waterthrush Hotel is the narrow strip of water (wet woodlands) along Parklake Road (Street?) at the northeast edge of Dolph Park. You can walk the trails to get there, starting from the Wagner Road entrance to the park. Just keep pushing in the northeast direction. Go over the hill and down to Parklake Road. You can't miss it. Alternatively, you can drive right to the Waterthrush Hotel. Parklake Road runs parallel to Wagner. Get on Jackson Road and turn in (south) on the second road east of Wagner; that's Parklake Road. Drive about 1/4 mile and park along the curb. Bruce ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Bruce M. From North Maple take Jackson Road west. Immediately before the Weber's Inn parking lot turn left on Gralake. Be careful not to miss it. Go two blocks to Lakeview and turn right. Go a block to Parklake Lane. First Sister Lake is directly ahead of you. Turn left on Parklake and drive down to the waterthrush hotel, a narrow strip of wet woodlands type area. You can also get to Parklake via Wagner to Jackson. Go east on Jackson from Wagner. Turn right onto Parklake Lane. Bruce
