Sharon Hollow Preserve, i.e., the Nan Weston Preserve at Sharon Hollow Date sent: Wed, 23 Apr 1997 10:58:26 -0400 (EDT) From: "Dave B. Sing" Subject: Re: directions to Sharon Hollow To: "Bruce M. Bowman" Copies to: Joyce Peterson , birders@umich.edu Howdy; I found these directions a bit confusing. Take Pleasant Lake rd. west off 52 to the big left bend, and go right. P.L. rd. ends at the bend, which follows Sharon Hollow rd. south (paved); turning right (onto gravel) takes Sharon Hollow rd. north. Head north, take the first left (Eusades rd.), trail head will be on your left ~1/2 mile down, just before Jacob rd. Sharon Hollow IS NOT the first road to the right on P.L. rd. past 52, it's the THIRD right. Page 32, c1, Delorme gazeteer. And yes indeedy, take mud boots, but try to stay on the trails, the wet spots are super-sensitive, esp. in spring. Have fun! There's room for a few cars to park off the road there. --Wearboots--despite the bits of boardwalk it's generally very mucky.
