Subject:          Glaucous Gull Erie Powerplant 1-31-99

On Sunday afternoon, I had a flyby first winter Glaucous gull at the
Erie Powerplant. In the large patch of open water on both sides of the
discharge channel three Bald Eagles were periodically hunting for fish.
Also one Horned Grebe was present.

Exit from I-75 onto Erie Rd., five miles north of Ohio.  Go east to the 
end of Erie Rd., park, and walk to the beach.
