Frequently Asked Questions

If you are looking for a community of friends who enjoy chemistry, space for professional development and leadership opportunities, and lifelong brotherhood, consider rushing Alpha Chi Sigma!

While our chapter has a chemistry requirement (have taken or plan to take at least one chem class), you do not need to be a chemistry major in order to rush! Many brothers have majors and minors in other fields.

Come to as many rush events as you can, so that you can get to know what Alpha Chi Sigma is all about. Submit your application through the Google form linked on this website, and if you receive a bid, you will be invited to join our chapter.

Don’t worry! We have zoom options available in case of sickness (Covid, flu, etc.). If you have conflicts, that’s okay too! Just come to as many events as you can and mark them on your application.

Professional interviews can seem daunting, but we will try our best to make you feel comfortable in our community! We have a business casual dress code for this event only, so make sure to wear something that you feel confident in.

Expect a sense of brotherhood that is unmatched anywhere else on campus and opportunities to grow both academically and professionally.
